Katherine RobertsKatherine Roberts, E-RYT 200 is the Director of Teacher Training and Co-Founder of Peak Performance Yoga.  She is a 20 year veteran in fitness training, yoga studies, professional coaching and motivation is a certified fitness trainer, yoga instructor, golf biomechanical specialist, and performance coach.  She has been teaching and studying yoga over 14 years and certifying Yoga For Golfers teachers for the last 6 years.  Katherine is also the founder and president of Yoga For Golfers and the KR Flexfit Method.  Roberts’ unique approach to golf conditioning is a hybrid of western biomechanical research and eastern mind/body conditioning for performance, andher work has been profiled by USATODAY, The NY and LA Times, Golf Magazine, Golf for Women, Golf Week and US Airways Magazine. As a fitness expert and a regular contributor for The Golf Channel she has appeared on The Turn, The Big Break, Your Game Night, How Low Can you Go and Game ON! Katherine’s new golf fitness series Swing Fault Solutions continues to air in The Golf Channel’s international markets.

Katherine is the producer of seven DVDs and author of the ground-breaking book Yoga for Golfers (McGraw-Hill). Her second book Swing Flaws and Fitness Solutions, co- authored with Hank Haney was published in August 2009. Roberts is dedicated to helping athletes achieve maximum performance and balance both on and off the field of play.

Katherine is the yoga expert for the LA Dodgers and San Diego Padres.  She has been working in Major League Baseball for eight years.

Cheryl KempCheryl Kemp, RYT 500 is the Co-Founder of Peak Performance Yoga and the Director of Business Operations at Yoga For Golfers.  She took her first yoga class in 1998 while studying at the University of Cincinnati where she obtained a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Addictions Studies and graduate training in Clinical Psychology. She felt an immediate connection to yoga and began practicing regularly, experimenting with different styles.  In 2009 she was forced to quit running after 17 years and used yoga to rehabilitate both body and spirit.  It was during this time she found Baptiste style power yoga and knew she finally found a practice that spoke to her on every level.  Cheryl is an Associate Baptiste Power Vinyasa teacher.  As she began teaching she realized she could help even more people by studying the therapeutic applications of yoga that had helped her through so many sports injuries in the past.  In 2011 she completed and was certified in yoga therapy by Ananda Seva, training with several prominent and experienced yoga therapists.  Read Cheryl’s detailed bio here.

A  lifetime of athletics and the pursuit of ultimate health and wellness leads Cheryl to continually study injury prevention and treatment, sports psychology, physical training techniques, yoga, nutrition, ayurveda, yoga therapy, meditation and multiple alternative therapies.
